"Heaven's Gate"
a poem by Emery F. Nauden

Several people (OK, only three) have asked for copies of the poem "Heaven's Gate." On the assumption that more than just three people would like the words to the poem I have decided to include it here:

Heaven's Gate
by Emery F. Nauden

Only those who're devoid of sin,
Heaven's Gates are allowed to go in.
Your sins God forgave
So you can be saved
And St. Peter will invite you to come in.

Once inside you shall surely see
Scores of sinners more sinful than thee.
But this you must know
Before inside you may go
God loves them as much as he loves thee.

Lord God loves us each and every one,
Though He despise the evil we've done.
To save all of us
He sacrificed thus,
Jesus Christ His only begotten son.
